There were central heating, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and a mini bar fridge in the room, liked that. The location of the hotel was peaceful and magnificent - just a pleasant stroll away from Monastery of Deserto.

The NAPOLI suite was absolutely stunning, with a cozy bedroom, a reading room perfect for relaxing, and a fabulous terrace with comfy deck chairs. It felt like a little piece of paradise! The PROCIDA room had direct access from the courtyard, making it super convenient to come and go as you please. Both the NAPOLI suite and the PROCIDA room had flat-screen TVs and private bathrooms, which were clean and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The private bathrooms were spacious and had a full toilet, shower, and a lovely courtesy set. I loved that the rooms had balconies where I could enjoy beautiful mountain views. The private entrance of the double room gave me a sense of privacy and independence. Having satellite TV in the double room was a nice bonus for relaxation after a long day of exploring.
Personally, I found the private bathroom being external a bit inconvenient, but I understand that some guests might actually enjoy the unique experience.

During my stay at Villa Il Turro, I had a wonderful time exploring the beautiful area. The location of the villa is excellent, with easy access to Pompeii, the Amalfi coast, and the charming town of Sorrento. The rooms in the former castle are spacious, authentic, and fully equipped, providing a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Each day, the rooms were cleaned and our beds were made up with care. The breakfast in the characteristic kitchen was delightful, with Rita preparing the tables and making a delicious cup of cappuccino. The staff, including Rita and Sergio, were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They provided us with helpful information about bus schedules, nearby attractions, and even anti-mosquito spray. Additionally, Sergio arranged a private boat excursion to Capri, which was an unforgettable experience. When faced with car trouble, Rita and Sergio were quick to assist, connecting us with a nearby car mechanic who fixed the problem promptly. I had a fantastic stay at Villa Il Turro and would highly recommend it for its exceptional service, beautiful surroundings, and convenient location.

Absolutely loved the elegant villa surrounded by lemon groves. The sea views were stunning and the breakfasts were truly indulgent. I could relax and unwind all day long.
Who needs a pool to cool off when you can just sweat it out in the scorching heat? Perfect, right?

The interior decor was reminiscent of a bygone era and exuded a sense of nostalgia. The common areas were beautifully adorned with antique furniture and paintings, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. As a senior, I found the hotel to be easily accessible, with well-maintained paths and handrails available for extra support. It was delightful to stroll through the garden and find peaceful nooks to relax in, surrounded by the stunning scenery of Massa Lubrense.
I would have appreciated a more extensive range of amenities specifically catered towards senior guests.
